Position: Software QA

Location: Uster Technologies India, Coimbatore


Uster Technologies AG, Switzerland ( is the global leader for managing spinning mills with quality in mind. We provide a global cloud solution for spinning mills consisting of various cloud services. Together with your team you develop and provide specific cloud services to our customers in the textile world.


Job Responsibilities:

As a Scrum Team member, you:

  • Analyze users' stories and/or use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
  • Create test cases by collaborating closely with other team members and departments.
  • Execute all levels of manual testing (System, Integration, Story and Regression)
  • Design and develop automated tests.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Provide timely solutions
  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
  • Provide support and documentation


Specific Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software tester or software quality assurance specialist.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
  • Proficiency in writing automated tests in C# and Typescript
  • Relevant software testing certifications include Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB Agile Tester Certification or Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).
  • Knowledge of computer architecture and tools for manual & auto testing, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and bug-tracking systems.
  • Experience in working with test automation tools. (e.g. Postman, Playwright)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical soundness, data analysis acumen and troubleshooting & programming capabilities.
  • Master’s degree in computer programming, software development or related fields.


Cloud Services:

  • Microsoft Azure: Familiarity with Azure services for cloud hosting, storage, and scaling web applications.

  • Willingness to travel, as required.
