Persistent Systems | Senior Database Architect | india

This is a lead position and should have experience on multiple DB platforms.
Should experience in DB Sanitization, Azure SQL, SQLMI, Postgres, CosmosDB will be the Primary, Oracle, Azure Cloud.
JOb Description:
- Database Design & Architecture: Proficiency in database schema design, normalization, and data modeling techniques.
- Expertise in major DBMS platforms like Azure SQL,SQLMI,Azure PostgreSQL,redis cache, MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
- Experience managing operations on cloud-based infra environments(Specially Azure).
- In-depth knowledge of query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability (HA) solutions.
- Familiarity with database security measures, including encryption, authentication, and role-based access control.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation of routine database tasks.
- Ability to develop and implement long-term database strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
- Expertise in conducting thorough investigations to determine the root cause of recurring problems and preventing future occurrences
- Understanding of budget constraints and cost management, especially in cloud environments.
- Data Compliance,ensuring that the database environment complies with them and Ability to prepare for & manage database audits.
- Experience leading a team of DBAs, including task delegation, mentoring, and professional development.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple database-related projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.
