Job summary

As a Apigee Developer you will leverage your expertise in GCP and Apigee to drive the integration and management of APIs within our geospatial projects. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our geospatial data capabilities ensuring seamless API management and contributing to innovative solutions that impact our global operations. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of day shifts without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of geospatial data using GCP and Apigee ensuring efficient data flow and accessibility.
  • Oversee the management of APIs on the Apigee platform optimizing performance and security.
  • Provide technical expertise in Apigee API Management to enhance geospatial data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement API strategies that align with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for API integrations and management processes.
  • Monitor and analyze API performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in API management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API integrations.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative geospatial solutions that support company objectives.
  • Support the continuous improvement of geospatial data capabilities through effective API management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored API solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies in geospatial data management.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions for team members on API management best practices.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in GCP and Apigee integration with at least 6 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Apigee API Platform and API Management.
  • Exhibit proficiency in designing and implementing API strategies.
  • Showcase ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Display strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
