Job Description :

The Project Manager for Cyber Security will be responsible for overseeing and managing cyber security projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of cyber security principles, and excellent leadership and communication skills. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cyber security projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

- Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal staff, external vendors, and consultants.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in cyber security.

- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and post-mortem reviews, to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

- Manage project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, testing plans, and final reports.

- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging professional growth and development.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.

- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on cyber security projects.

- Strong understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices.

- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
