Job Purpose

Looking after overall Design & Development activities of Mould Plant in safe manner. To comply all the regulations and requirement as applicable.

Role & responsibilities

  • Exposure to 2D and 3D designing on UG NX and Auto-CAD
  • Exposure in Mould designing
  • Ensure the availability and usage of PPEs
  • Create safety awareness among the employees and shift officers by safety awareness sessions.
  • Improvement activities to be driven in terms of safety aspect.
  • Exposure in designing of Jig/Fixtures
  • Knowledge of CNC and VMC machining process and tooling
  • Thoroughly analyzing job, functional area, design concept & processes to decide best machining strategy
  • Programming for Dies and Mould on high end machines in coordination with design and manufacturing using UG NX and POWERMILL software
  • Capturing the feedbacks from the machine shop to reduce the process time
  • Conducting the Cam reviews along with the shop to identify the areas for improvements
  • Training other programmers in UG NX and Powermill software.

  • Attaining the assigned targets and completion of jobs in stipulated time.
  • Good relationship with Service departments.
  • In depth involvement in attaining the department objectives.
  • Out of the box thinking and self-driven.
  • Good command and influence over subordinates.
  • Keen in presenting the department presentable

Skill & Experience

  • MS Office / SAP
  • 2D and 3D designing on UG NX and Auto-CAD Knowledge on Auto Cad Drawing reading, understanding
  • UG NX and POWERMILL software
  • Knowledge of CNC and VMC machining process and tooling

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

Education: - Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 02-10 Years experience in similar role.
