Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools Primavera P6. Ensure alignment of site activities with overall project timelines and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual site conditions. Create detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for sharing the site progress with major stakeholders. Track milestone completion across project stages – delivery, installation, testing and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors to gather progress data. Coordinate with cross functional teams to align with execution timelines.
  • Maintain visibility of critical path activities and flag potential risks proactively.
  • Support cost control and resource planning activities. Coordinate with commercial and finance teams to track budget utilization against planned expenditure.
  • Monitor contractor productivity and manpower deployment as per work schedule.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards for reviews.
  • Identify potential delays and risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to planning and control activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent.
  • 3–6 years of experience in project planning and control, preferably in energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with BESS or renewable energy projects is a plus.
