As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals, responses to requests for proposals/information, and proactive pitches tailored to meet client needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, sales, and marketing, to coordinate inputs and ensure the delivery of high-quality bids. Additionally, you will maintain up-to-date documentation, develop pricing models, and streamline processes to optimize efficiency.Roles and Responsibilities

Build client-requested proposals, proactive proposals, responses to RFP/RFI, develop collaterals for client meetings, pre-bid meetings, etc.Assess, plan, and coordinate a pitch/bid process, supervising the input of different teams (engineering, finance, sales & marketing, etc.).Liaise with internal and external customers to obtain relevant information (technical & commercial) for building an effective bid proposal.Prepare high-quality client proposals, including bids/pitch submissions, assess pre-qualification requirements, presentations, and evaluations.Fill out EOI/RFP/RFI with standard company information.Prepare, update, and maintain documents (design and layout) for bid submission.Coordinate the internal standard information database so that it continuously contains the most current information and best practices.Coordinate and work closely with sales, solution, delivery, finance, legal, and other teams to build an effective ecosystem to deliver best-in-class deliverables in areas of proposals, RFP/RFI response, etc.Develop, review, and validate pricing models.Understand, articulate, and write solutions as explained by Solution Engineers and Department Heads in the language of global business to deliver a world-class proposal with a coherent storyline.Build reusable assets such as proposal templates/pricing models/approaches etc. to shorten the cycle time/effort of building a response.

Requisite Skills

2-3 years of related experience with a proven track record in pitch/bid management would be an advantage.Someone with a BTech/BE in Electrical/Electronic Engineering + knowledge of the AMI/Metering/Smart Metering industry would be an advantage.Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word are a must.Excellent English writing and documentation skills.Proficient, organized, with a strong focus on quality output.Can work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.Self-starter, proactive, and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.Excellent at handling multiple tasks, multiple stakeholders, and competing demands in a corporate environment.Strong ability to communicate effectively through all mediums and at all levels, both internally and externally.Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal/external partners.
