Job Description : Social Media Reel Script Writer


Job Overview :

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Reel Script Writer to join our

dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting

compelling and engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, driving interaction and brand

visibility. With at least 1-3 years of dedicated experience in reel-script writing, the

candidate should have a proven track record of enhancing social media

engagement through innovative content strategies.

Academic Qualification: Any graduate/ postgraduate

Reports To: Senior Content Creator

Experience Desired: 1 to 3 years experience


Responsibilities:

• Develop original and engaging scripts for Instagram Reels that align with our

brand voice and marketing goals.

• Collaborate with the social media team to brainstorm creative ideas that

resonate with our target audience.

• Analyze performance metrics of Reels to understand engagement patterns and

refine scripting strategies accordingly.

• Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices, especially

on Instagram, to ensure content is relevant and appealing.

• Work closely with video editors and content creators to ensure the final product

reflects the intended message and tone.

• Manage multiple script projects simultaneously, from concept through

execution, ensuring timely delivery of content.

• Provide input for monthly reporting on the effectiveness of social media

campaigns and strategies.


Key Skills:

• Proven experience (1-3 years) in writing reel scripts for social media, specifically

Instagram Reels, with a portfolio demonstrating successful engagement results.

• Strong understanding of Instagram's audience, trends, and analytics tools.

• Excellent storytelling abilities with a knack for creating captivating and

motivational content.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to

feedback.

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to

detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related

field is preferred.
