We're looking for a highly skilled L3 Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This isn't just a server, network, or virtualization role; it's a dynamic position for a seasoned professional who can handle all three. You will be a top-tier escalation point for complex issues, driving solutions from root cause analysis to final resolution. If you have deep expertise in Microsoft/Linux Server, VMware, and a range of networking technologies, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAs a senior engineer, you'll be the backbone of our critical infrastructure. You'll tackle our toughest challenges and ensure our systems are resilient, secure, and performant. Your responsibilities will include:Serving as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues across our server, virtualization, and network environments.Leading troubleshooting and resolution for high-severity incidents, ensuring rapid service restoration and minimal downtime.Managing and optimizing our diverse infrastructure, including:Microsoft Windows Server: Providing advanced administration and troubleshooting for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.VMware: Maintaining and enhancing our v Sphere, ESXi, and v Center platforms for high availability and performance.Networking: Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting devices from Fortinet (Forti Gate, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer) and Cisco (Meraki, legacy routing/switching).Conducting in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) and developing comprehensive post-incident reports.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement proactive solutions, upgrades, and migrations.Creating and maintaining robust documentation, including runbooks and knowledge base articles.Mentoring and providing knowledge transfer to L1 and L2 support teams.QualificationsWe're seeking a candidate with a strong background and a passion for technology. The ideal candidate will have:10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles with a strong focus on servers, virtualization, and networking.Advanced expertise in Linux and Windows Server ).Deep knowledge of VMware v Sphere/ESXi/v Center.Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet and Cisco networking devices.A solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, routing, switching, firewall rules).Proven ability to lead Major Incidents (P1/MIM) under pressure.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Highly Desirable Skills:Experience with Linux administration (Red Hat, Cent OS, Ubuntu).Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).Certifications such as VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE, CCNP, or Microsoft MCSE/MCSA.Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS).Exposure to monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Science Logic, Service Now, Solar Winds).Why Join us?We offer a challenging yet rewarding environment where you can truly make an impact.
