Company Overview: Well funded Startup providing Marketing Automation Services to Ecommerce / D2C Brands in India.
Job Summary: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in our sales process by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to book demo meetings for our Account Executives and Sales Leadership team. This position requires a proactive and driven individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach, to generate new sales opportunities.
- Qualify leads and set up meetings for Account Executives and Sales Leadership to present our solutions and services.
- Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target companies.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage with them to understand their needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage prospects.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify and qualify leads.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with the industry and understanding of the solutions and services offered is a plus.
