Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of business requirements ensuring a thorough understanding of business needs and processes
Design, code, and test ServiceNow solutions that deliver new system capabilities, system enhancements or defects
Development/support of scoped applications
Integrate ServiceNow with Third party systems
Participate in Agile development methodologies
Support & maintain applications by proactively resolving issues and enhance application stability
Collaborate with team members to improve the quality and scalability of supported systems and provide recommendations
Partner with the business on exploring new opportunities to add value through the use of ServiceNow platform
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 5+ years of experience as an application engineer
5+ years of ServiceNow development, configuration experience in an enterprise environment
Must have experience building and developing custom ServiceNow applications
Hands on experience on Integration (interfacing) of enterprise software systems with ServiceNow
Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Business Rules, Client Script, Script Include, Scripted Rest API, Events, Notifications.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow technical Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production
