The primary responsibility includes thorough verification, copy-checking, and editing to maintain the highest quality standards. This role would be aligned with the Australia & UAE business. Responsibilities: Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of information provided in car-related content to maintain credibility. Copy-Editing: Ensure all content aligns with the established style guide, correcting grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors. Tone Alignment: Guarantee that the tone of the content is consistent with the brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience. Collaboration: Collaborate with content writers to provide constructive feedback for improvement and maintaining a cohesive content strategy. Deadline Management: Manage tight deadlines by efficiently editing and approving content within established timelines. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of content across all platforms. Content writing: Write quality content related to cars Qualifications and Skills: Content Editing: Demonstrated experience in content editing, preferably in a newsroom or editorial setting. Passion for Cars: A genuine interest and passion for automobiles, with an understanding of the automotive industry. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to catch errors and inconsistencies in content. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with content writers and other team members. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving style guides and industry trends. Experience Requirements: 3-4 years of experience in content editing, preferably in a fast-paced editorial environment. Work Environment: Hybrid model, with 2-3 days per week at the Gurgaon office. Salary and Benefits: Competitive and in accordance with industry standards.
