Job Description We are looking for suitable candidate for AGM/DGM – Engineering in SBD Plant. Please find the below job description in brief for your perusal. Role Purpose:- The Purpose of this role is to drive innovation process in the organization. Also, plan, drive, lead, coordinate and execute all product development activities, prototyping, product improvement for new and existing product line. Key Responsibilities: · Reviewing customer inputs prior to product design & development including Statutory and Regulatory requirements like RoHS/Reach etc. · Development of new product based on market need and competitive analysis. · Guiding and monitoring the engineers to design new products. · Reviewing drawings /Specification/Check sheet prior to release and submit to customer for approval. · Developing packaging standard for all Bulk/Retail · Support to preparing and providing quotation for new products. · Arranging product testing for new development/ file patent for new product and do liaison Ing for the same. · Effective implementation of the change management (Engineering Change) · Value engineering of products to improve cost/function/productivity. · 3rd party product certification/listing and audits. Additional Responsibilities · Reporting on the departmental QMS performance in the Management Review · Ensure that all design records pertaining to all the product design and development are maintained. · Attending management review meeting as and when required. · Conducting Design review meeting with team members and support function based on project requirement. · Addressing quality issues related to product / packaging Engineering. · Address product quality/ process deviation issues. Specific knowledge · Exposure of Die Casting/Sand Casting/ Plating Interactions (internal & external) · Internal – All Departments · External- Investors/ Head Office-Departments/Vendors/Purchase Work Experience and Education · Qualification- B. Tech (Mechanical) · Experience- 15~20 years Specific competencies · Good planning and organizational skills · Strong analytical skills · Strong Business Acumen · Strong Drive & Execution Organisation:- Directly Reports to: Head Engineering Number of Direct reports: 3~4 Check Your Resume for Match Upload your resume and our tool will compare it to the requirements for this job like recruiters do.
