Job Description:

Assurance Developers is looking for an experienced Site Project Manager to lead and oversee the construction of residential projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution of these plans to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Provide direction and support to ensure that all team members perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all work is carried out according to approved specifications and standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with the approved budget. Identify and address any potential cost overruns or financial risks.
  • Client Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress. Address any client concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Safety Management: Ensure that all site activities comply with health and safety regulations. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process. Make quick, informed decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and any necessary corrective actions.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to support project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in site project management, particularly in residential construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
