Lead the planning function for a multinational player in sports equipment Work with a global brand leader in a dynamic and fast paced culture About Our Client The client is a global sportswear and performance footwear brand Job Description Demand & Supply Planning Accurate Forecasting : Develop and maintain robust demand forecasting models using statistical methods and market intelligence DIO Management : Monitor and optimize Days Inventory Outstanding to balance service levels with working capital efficiency Sales Analysis : Conduct comprehensive sales trend analysis, seasonality patterns, and market demand assessment. Factory Capacity Planning : Collaborate with manufacturing to align production capacity with demand requirements Level Loading : Implement production smoothing strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize variability OR Planning : Oversee Order Review planning processes to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial targets Supply Chain Operations Manage end-to-end supply planning process. Oversee purchase order management and supplier coordination Implement inventory optimization strategies across all product categories Collaborate with Product, Sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations Strategic Planning & Analysis Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans and reports aligned with business objectives Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for supply chain disruptions Prepare executive-level reports on performance and recommendations Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and cross-functional meetings. Support Category managers with Category and product insights Team Management Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development for team members Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team Establish clear KPIs and accountability measures for team performance The Successful Applicant Education & Experience MBA, (Maths) or master's degree in data science with relevant experience. 7-10 years of progressive experience in planning and demand/supply management Minimum 3-5 years of team leadership experience Experience in manufacturing or retail environment preferred Technical Skills Proficiency in demand planning software Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, DAX, Data Modelling, Python with statistical analysis capabilities Experience with ERP systems Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent leadership and team development skills Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Strong business acumen and financial understanding Cross-functional collaboration and influence skills Change management and process improvement expertise
