Responsibilities:

  • Build NAND product/Testchip test development validationcharacterization & qualification
  • Partnerwith Process Integration yield engineering to improve overall dieyield and meet the critical milestones planned for thetestchip
  • NAND product test mode definition andapplications
  • Build Presilicon conceptualdesign and preparation work
  • Collaborate withDesign Engineering on DFT implementation PreSi verification andPost Si validation of DFT features.
  • RunVerilog (Digital) and Analog design simulations Analyze Debug Pre& Post silicon Full Chip designs from functional speed datapathand power circuitry points of view.
  • Utilizeengineering bench wafer level microprobing and testers to performdevice characterization data sheet spec checks electrical failureanalysis (EFA) identify design anomalies &marginalities.
  • Build Design novel testalgorithms and develop test programs for validating andcharacterizing NAND features commands timings and currents. Usehighspeed tester hardware to perform functional and designvalidation of new NAND devices.
  • Prepare benchprograms software tools and hardware interfaces for initial siliconfor new nonvolatile semiconductor memory products. Process andimplement special requests for enabling silicon debug throughoutthe product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with TestSolutions Engineering on test code development.
  • Drive NAND issue resolution taskforce and debug effortsespecially during critical first Silicon issues & system leveltesting (internal and external customers).
  • Selfdriven capability to coordinate with global DesignEngineering Probe Fab Technology Development Component TestingSystem Integration Application Engineering for volume datacollection analysis identifying trends root causing observeddeviations/anomalies & coming up with innovative long termrobust solutions. Sense of ownership is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent data analysis problem solving anddecisionmaking skills.
  • Strong foundation ofmixedsignal VLSI such as analog circuits and systems digital logicand RTL design. Knowledge of Flash memory architecture andoperation is a plus
  • Solid understanding ofsemiconductor characterization techniques and equipment
  • Knowledge of bench testing equipment (oscope logicanalyzer Nextest Magnum Advantest etc) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistics and data analysistools
  • Knowledge in writing testbenches in SVVerilog VerilogAMS Spice is a plus.
  • Excellentproject management skills
  • Selfmotivated andenthusiastic
  • Demonstrated ability to partnersuccessfully with other groups to build strong peer relationshipsand meet customers needs.
  • Commitment to Learn& improvement

Technical Skills:

  • Simulation software knowhow (e.g. Verilog Synopsis VCS)is a plus
  • Software development proficiency(e.g. Cbased programming) and scripting (e.g. Perl Python) would bean added advantage
  • Effective communication andpresentation skills
  • Experience in devicemodelling in TCAD and MATLAB and Device Fabrication is aplus
  • Strong fundamentals in device physicsdigital logic design CMOS analog VLSI design
  • Tools knowledge: Teradynes Magnum Verilog ModelSimCadence Virtuoso Oscilloscope
  • Knowledge onYield3 JMP is a plus.

Education:

  • This position requires a Masters degree in ElectricalEngineering Computer Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Course work in VLSI technology analog/digital circuitssemiconductor processing and semiconductor devicephysics
