JobResponsibilities
As a System Product Engineer at Micron Technology youwill be responsible for developing validating and maintainingmanufacturing Firmware for testing of SSD/mNANDproducts. During the development phase youwill need to work closely with Test Process Engineers to understandthe test requirements to develop the Manufacturing FW to selftestSSD/mNAND. Drive continuous improvementinitiatives in terms of test coverage to improve DPM and drive TTRimprovements through optimization of code. Itwill also encompass driving Manufacturing FW release and validationplan to ensure smooth integration of the Manufacturing FW releasedto the production floor. Goal is to ensurethat device manufactured are tested to meet or exceed the requiredfunctionality usability quality/reliability and performance with anefficient manufacturing firmware. Involving inEnd to End product development understand the system architectureto come up with new test screens to bring out the early lifefailures on the media. Design Develop highquality and cost efficient test strategies.Support for failure analysis from NPI to HVMstage. Perform manufacturing yield evaluationand data analysis. Perform electrical hardwareand physical failure analysis and work with other departments toresolve product related issues.SkillsetRequired:
- Good C/C programming skills with experience inembedded system design and development
- Manufacturing firmware development/validation experienceon complex storage specific memory controllers.
- Ability to read and understand hardwareschematics
- Debugging the complex productionissues using inhouse debug environments.
- Define and improve testing methods to address new productcharacterization and qualification issues.
- Working experience in interface such as PCIe/NVMe SATAUFSI2C SPI and SMBUS would be an advantage.
- Experience with NAND flash and other nonvolatilestorage
- Good understanding and experience withUnix/Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Strongproblem solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and presentationskills.
- Selfmotivated andenthusiastic.
- Good to have knowledge onJenkins
Education & Experience:
Position requires minimum of a bachelors degree inelectrical or computer engineering with at least 3 years ofrelevant work experience.
