Job description: Preparing bills: A billing engineer prepares bills of materials and quantities, and subcontractor bills. They also prepare and certify RA & Final bills. Reconciling: A billing engineer reconciles quantities and material statements. They also prepare monthly reconciliation statements. Estimating: A billing engineer estimates and costs, and prepares quantity statements. They also prepare project quantities for bidding. Verifying: A billing engineer verifies bills and certified working drawings. Maintaining records: A billing engineer maintains billing records and follows up on accounts. Analyzing: A billing engineer analyzes engineering drawings. Negotiating: A billing engineer negotiates. Balancing income: A billing engineer maintains and balances project income.
