: Primarily responsible for Data Migrations from client’s legacy systems to Mitratech’s products on Oracle and/or SQL Server database platform Works on back-end of application and responsible for technical requirements review, script development, and validation Works with Business Analysts and Project Managers to address data mapping items in the mapping document Participates in data design sessions with the Business Analyst. Meets regularly with the project team to provide periodic task updates. Meets with client to address data issues/inconsistencies When required, assists with building script libraries, documenting processes, and internal resource training and administration Script execution and go-live activities, including troubleshooting any data migration issues Data analysis, evaluation, and cleanup Any other tasks that from time to time may be assigned to the role Technical Skills & Experience: 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience with database development, scripting on Oracle and SQL Server including database structure, complex procedure, window functions, dynamic SQL and SQL tuning, ETL processes in both Oracle(SQL Loader, Pentaho) and SQL Server (SSIS) (required) In-depth knowledge and understanding of Administering Oracle (version 12c and 19c) and SQL Server (version 2012, 2016, 2018+) databases including export/import, logging, archiving (required) Knowledge of Data Warehouse principles. (required) Basic knowledge and hands-on experience of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and VBScript Working experience in Software Development methodologies like Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Experience in Subversion or like technologies for Code Repository and scripting sharing Experience in working in Windows and Linux environments Personal Skills: Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously without compromising quality of work Must be able to independently prioritize workload and work accordingly to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal, communication, and follow up skills - both verbal and written Must be well-organized and detail-oriented in order to align with team practices and standards Good team player with ability to work both within a team and independently Ability and willingness to train others in use relevant tools and technology Customer facing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including internal and external Management teams Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and solutions oriented Desired Technical Skills: Knowledge of database encryption practices is a plus Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in object oriented programming – C#, .NET, Java and J2EE technologies Experience with Web Services (SOAP and RESTful) Experience in technical documentation writing (e.g. data dictionaries, architectural diagrams, etc.) Client-facing experience leading data requirement sessions Experience creating, defining, streamlining, and documenting processes We are an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
