Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer as a backend developer for the Visa Spend Clarity for Business Product Development team. The Visa Spend Clarity for Business Product Development team is part of Visa’s Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) organization and is responsible for designing, developing, and managing applications and services for VSCB.
Job Role – Senior Software Engineer (Java Backend / Full stack)
Location – Bangalore, KA (Hybrid)
Primary responsibilities:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Software Development with backend technologies
As part of a cross functional scrum team, design, develop & test new applications and maintain existing applications.
Ability to write flawless codes in Java and Spring boot, with a good understanding of Data Structure and Algorithm
Understand the requirement, come up with the best user-friendly interface, which is simple, elegant, easy to use and follows Visa principles.
Develop the backend microservices, REST APIs
Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security and best practices.
Work with Architects, Product Owners, Project Managers, QA, and other developers to successfully implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.
Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by teammates is in accordance with development standards.
Build working relationships with global and virtual teams on software development.
Have a passion for delivering zero defect code and be responsible for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations.
Identify opportunities for product innovation and strive for improvements to best practices, standards and processes.
Mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time with good code quality.
