Job Responsibilities:
- Lead design and architecture discussions for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with the company’s technical vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers, to convert business requirements into technical specifications and tasks.
- Develop efficient, maintainable, and robust code using Java and associated technologies.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in Java, software design, and best practices.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical challenges in software applications.
- Stay current with advancements in Java and related technologies to ensure continuous product innovation.
- Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE software development.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, complex software systems.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring boot and related technologies.
- Proficiency in developing web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience in Frontend Technologies like Angular, JS, React will be added advantage.
- Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)(Good to have) and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
