Job Responsibilities:
Lead design and architecture discussions for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with the company’s technical vision.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers, to convert business requirements into technical specifications and tasks.
Develop efficient, maintainable, and robust code using Java and associated technologies.
Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in Java, software design, and best practices.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical challenges in software applications.
Stay current with advancements in Java and related technologies to ensure continuous product innovation.
Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE software development.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, complex software systems.
In-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring boot and related technologies.
Proficiency in developing web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
Experience in Frontend Technologies like Angular, JS, React will be added advantage.
Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)(Good to have) and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
