Role Overview:


As a Full Stack Developer/Senior Fullstack Developer at Hexad, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our users. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java or Kotlin, experience with modern frameworks like Next.js or Express.js, and proficiency in Node.js and Spring. Knowledge of Apache Spark and a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) will be considered advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop web applications using Java or Kotlin on the backend and Next.js or Express.js on the frontend.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Spring.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement unit and integration tests, adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development practices.


Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Next.js or Express.js.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js and Spring.
  • Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of database systems and integration.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing.
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
