Supply Chain Management-The Spare Parts Manager coordinates with Suppliers and Vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts, negotiates pricing and terms, and maintains healthy relationships with them. 3. Sales Analysis and Forecasting-The Spare Parts Manager analyze sales trends and forecast demand for parts to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and to identify any potential issues before they arise. 4. Quality Assurance-The Spare Parts Manager ensures that all parts meet quality and safety standards, and comply with regulatory requirements. 5. Staff Management- The Spare Parts Manager trains and supervises staff responsible for receiving, storing and distributing parts, ensuring that they are performing their duties effectively. 6. Customer Service-The Spare Parts Manager develops and maintains relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and to ensure that their requirements are met. 7. Cost Management -The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for managing costs associated with spare parts inventory, negotiating prices with suppliers and vendors, and reducing costs through effective inventory management. 8. Process Improvement-The Spare Parts Manager identifies and implements process improvements to optimise inventory management, streamline the supply chain process, and improve overall efficiency. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in inventory management preferably in spare parts or similar industry. • Experience with inventory management systems and software. • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to priorities tasks and meet deadlines . Experience 5 - 10 Years Salary 3 Lac To 6 Lac P.A. Industry Cargo / Freight / Transportation / Packaging / Shipping/Logistic Qualification Other Bachelor Degree, M.B.A/PGDM Key Skills Familiarity with maintenance repair operations Spare Parts supply chain management
