We are an eCommerce focused data and analytics provider assisting enterprises and brands in data driven decision-making to maximize business value. We have two key pillars within the firm product & solutions, consulting. Our flagship product, Daton, is a no-code ETL tool at its core and we actively build relevant features and solutions on top of it to reduce the time to business value. Our consulting team is focused on helping our clients derive maximum value from their data initiatives. Our consulting engagements typically span the extent of the data lifecycle and include business strategy, technical architecture, execution, and insight generation via industry leading practices.

The Role :


Tableau Developers play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful and actionable insights through the creation of interactive and visually appealing dashboards.


Join our high-performance analytics consulting team and be part of a dynamic environment where your Tableau expertise will play a crucial role in unleashing the power of data for fast-growing eCommerce brands. Note - only seasoned Tableau Developers able to thrive in a highly collaborative and innovative teams shall be able to crack our selection process.

Key Responsibilities :


Advanced Dashboard Development :


- Design and develop visually striking and interactive Tableau dashboards.


- Utilize a variety of chart types, parameters, and actions to create sophisticated and engaging dashboard experiences.


Data Connections and Integration :


- Establish connections to diverse data sources, including databases, cloud services, and spreadsheets.


- Integrate and blend data to create comprehensive datasets for in-depth analysis.


Data Analysis and Interpretation :


- Apply strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.


- Create calculated fields, measures, and dimensions for advanced analysis.


Performance Optimization :


- Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for enhanced performance and responsiveness.


- Implement best practices for efficient data extraction and visualisation.


SQL and Data Manipulation :


- Write proficient SQL queries to manipulate and transform data for effective use in Tableau.


- Conduct data cleaning, filtering, and shaping as required.


Scripting and Calculations :


- Utilize scripting languages (such as Python or R) for advanced calculations and data manipulation within Tableau.


- Implement Tableau calculations, including level of detail (LOD) expressions.


Automation and Scalability :


- Automate routine tasks and processes within the Tableau environment.


- Design scalable Tableau solutions capable of handling large datasets and user loads.


Collaboration and Communication :


- Effectively communicate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical Tableau solutions.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.


Version Control and Deployment :


- Apply version control practices for Tableau workbooks.


- Oversee the deployment of Tableau solutions across environments.


Training and Mentorship :


- Train and mentor junior Tableau developers or end-users.


- Share knowledge effectively and maintain comprehensive documentation.


Advanced Features Utilization :


- Implement advanced Tableau features such as parameter actions, set actions, and dynamic parameters.


- Leverage geospatial analytics and custom map integration for enhanced visualisation.


Security and Access Control :


- Ensure Tableau security features are implemented to control access to data and dashboards.


- Implement row-level security and user permissions as required.


Continuous Learning :


- Stay updated on the latest Tableau features and industry best practices.


- Actively participate in Tableau forums, communities, and training programs.


Requirements :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- 4 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer in a dynamic, data-driven environment.


- Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.


- Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and scripting languages.


- Experience with E-commerce data and metrics is a plus.


- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
