About the Role :

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong understanding of SharePoint functionalities and best practices. You will collaborate with various stakeholders (business users, IT team) to define requirements, configure SharePoint sites, and migrate existing data to the platform, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption.

Responsibilities :

- Participate in the planning and design phase of the SharePoint implementation project.

- Conduct workshops and gather requirements from business users to understand document management and collaboration needs.

- Design and configure SharePoint sites, subsites, document libraries, and lists based on departmental or project needs.

- Implement security measures and user access controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.

- Migrate existing data (documents, emails) to SharePoint using appropriate migration tools and techniques.

- Configure workflows and automation to streamline document approval processes and business operations.

- Develop and implement training materials to onboard users on the new SharePoint platform.

- Provide ongoing support to users and troubleshoot any issues related to SharePoint functionality.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SharePoint features and best practices.

- Document SharePoint configurations and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of experience in SharePoint administration and configuration.

- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, functionalities, and best practices.

- Experience with SharePoint site design, navigation, and content management.

- Experience with user provisioning, permissions, and security management in SharePoint.

- Experience with SharePoint migration tools and techniques is a plus.

- Knowledge of workflow automation concepts and tools within SharePoint is a plus.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
