Snapmint was started by a closely-knit team of passionate bankers and technocrats from IIT Bombay. We are looking for a candidate who can handle tax queries



About the role:


We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Accounts to manage the reconciliation of merchant transactions. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies related to merchant accounts in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the reconciliation of all merchant payments, settlements, and transactions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in merchant transactions and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare and analyze reconciliation reports, highlighting variances and ensuring all accounts are balanced.
  • Continuously work on improving reconciliation processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Accounting, Merchant Support) and external partners (Banks, Payment Gateways, Merchants) to ensure seamless reconciliation and payment processes.
  • Ensure all reconciliation processes comply with internal audit requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for merchants regarding payment and reconciliation issues, ensuring prompt communication and support.
  • Manage and mentor a team responsible for executing reconciliation tasks.


Experience & Qualification Required:

 

  • MBA/CA qualified with minimum of 3 years in finance, reconciliation, or similar roles, with a focus on merchant payments.
  • Must have experience with payment gateway or e-commerce company
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes, payment gateways, and merchant settlements.
  • Experience in handling large accounts in new age companies
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy


Location: Mumbai (Nahur Central Line)


Working days: 5 days & alternate sat working
