Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chandigarh for an Area Sales Position:– Ice Cream Division
We are looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented Sales Executive to join our Ice-Cream division. The role demands strong relationship-building skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to ensure smooth execution at the market level.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve secondary sales targets across the assigned territory.
Ensure proper placement, visibility, and availability of products at retail outlets.
Oversee freezer/asset deployment, utilization, and control in the market.
Manage team hiring, training, and coaching, with continuous evaluation of performance.
Drive effective use of DMS and SFA tools for sales operations in the assigned geography.
Collect and analyze market and sales data, and share insights with management.
Maintain records, process claims/returns, and ensure timely reporting.
Raise requests for branding and visibility initiatives, ensuring impactful in-market presence.
Build and maintain healthy relationships with distributors, retailers, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales, Business Development, and Account Management
- Strong understanding of Marketing Strategies, Market Research, and Promotional Activities
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
