Shared Services Finance Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Shared Services Manager to lead our finance shared services team. The ideal candidate will have over 13 years of comprehensive experience in finance, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role ideally within a shared service center environment. As the Finance Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of finance services across the organization, driving process improvements, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the finance shared services team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline finance processes and optimize service delivery.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance shared services function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Manage the financial close process, including coordination with accounting teams and business units to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls within the finance shared services function.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction within the finance shared services function.
Implement and leverage technology solutions to automate manual processes and improve productivity.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance shared services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and business leaders, to understand their needs and provide high-quality service and support.
Qualifications:
Fluent English
13+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with at least 4 years in a managerial role ideally within a Shared Services environment.
4+ years of experience with SAP.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
CPA/CA certification required.
Big4 experience preferred.
Strong understanding of finance principles, practices, and processes, with expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and operations.
Experience managing a finance shared services function, including expertise in process optimization and performance management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
