1. Name of the Role:

IT Support Engineer Cloud, Cybersecurity & Team Management

2. Required Experience:

5+ years (preferably with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity)

3. Key Skills Required

Technical Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware, software, and

networking issues

  • Expertise in Cloud Computing platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity practices: firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management,

endpoint protection, data security policies

  • Familiarity with virtualization tools: VMware, Hyper-V
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS system administration
  • Knowledge of scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python (preferred)
  • Experience in ITIL practices and ticketing systems

Soft & Managerial Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to train and mentor junior IT support staff
  • Vendor and stakeholder management

4. Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Certifications:

  • Cloud: GCP Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
  • Cybersecurity: Security+, CEH, or CISSP (preferred)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation (for IT service management best practices)

5. Other Requirements / Preferences:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours (on-call support for critical issues)
  • Proven track record of handling escalated IT issues under pressure
  • Experience in drafting IT policies and ensuring compliance (ISO is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and management
  • Preference for candidates with experience in mid to large-sized organizations
