Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Transition Manager to lead our digital workspace initiatives. This role will focus on aligning these initiatives with the strategic goals of UWV, our customer, and ensuring the successful execution and transformation of digital workspace projects. The ideal candidate will manage the cultural and organizational shifts associated with these transformations, ensuring seamless adaptation and minimizing disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans for digital workspace transformations, setting milestones and ensuring alignment with overarching strategic goals.
- Implement desktop and application virtualization in the cloud using Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) to enhance the digital workspace experience.
- Design and refine persona-based workplace experiences to cater to diverse user needs effectively.
- Enhance workplace security by identifying and removing false positives, and developing robust self-service catalogs.
- Manage project resources efficiently, including budgeting, personnel allocation, and technology assets to maximize project impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from senior management to external partners, to ensure support and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate the ongoing performance of digital workspace projects, making necessary adjustments to meet predefined objectives and respond to emergent challenges.
- Lead the cultural and organizational transformation required for successful digital workspace adoption, ensuring effective change management processes.
Required Competencies and Skills:
- Profound knowledge of Digital Workspace solutions and Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience (6-8 years) in leading Azure digital workplace projects, including aspects of virtualization, security, and user experience customization.
- Strong project management capabilities, with a track record of successful project delivery from conception to execution.
- Native proficiency in Dutch and strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to effectively manage resources, prioritize tasks, and mentor team members.
- Demonstrated ability to influence business stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Advanced planning, organizational, and risk management skills specific to digital workplace transformations.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and inspections within the context of digital project execution.
