Position: Project Manager / Production Editor

Work Location: Puducherry

Shift Timing Rotational:

1st Shift: 6.00AM to 2.00PM

2nd Shift: 2.00PM to 9.00PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects. The successful candidate will coordinate teams, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure project objectives align with organizational goals

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Allocates manpower based on needs and tracks individual/team performance.
  • Leads or facilitates meetings to address issues, updates, and recommendations.
  • Makes timely decisions within the approved authority.
  • Holds regular meetings with the project team to discuss activities and solve problems.
  • Analyzes projects with help from Production Logistics (e.g., table of contents, chapter details).
  • Prepares project schedules for clients.
  • Monitors and reports on project progress and performance.
  • Supports Executive Project Management and Senior Executive Project Management.
  • Coordinates with teams on processes, instructions, and technical requirements.
  • Receives files from clients via FTP, forwards them to production, and ensures proper handling.
  • Documents project details.
  • Clearly presents ideas in internal and external communications.
  • Corresponds with clients and creates reports with attention to style and language.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 1-5 Years Exposure in project coordination from publishing industries,
  • Must have good communication skills in English
  • Must be able to learn quickly
  • Must have good grasp of the industry Must be patient and has the ability to coordinate projects
