The Role We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Support Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in providing application-level support, managing code migrations, and resolving complex issues across cloud platforms and enterprise environments. You will work closely with development, QA, and business teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications.Key Responsibilities: Provide front-line support for web-based applications and services to both internal teams and external clients. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions. Monitor performance, identify system bottlenecks, and ensure high application availability. Coordinate code migrations and configuration changes across development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with development, design, and QA teams to resolve complex technical issues. Offer proactive support by monitoring alerts and logs, and taking preventive measures to avoid outages. Document issue resolutions, configuration changes, and support workflows clearly and thoroughly. Recommend system improvements and assist in optimizing business performance. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and management. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in application support or a related technical role. Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS or Azure). Strong understanding of Advanced Encryption Standards (AES) and application security best practices. Ability to diagnose application errors and implement effective fixes. Experience in supporting enterprise-level applications and coordinating across departments. Tools & Technologies: Azure Data Factory : Monitoring pipelines, resolving data movement and transformation failures. Azure Logic Apps & Function Apps: Diagnosing and fixing failed workflows to support business processes. SQL: Writing and executing queries for data analysis and troubleshooting. ServiceNow: Handling incidents, service requests, and change management. Power BI (Reports & Runbooks): Monitoring scheduled reports and automation tasks.
