Job Purpose
In this role, you will be instrumental in discovering talent, fostering strong employment relationships, and enhancing our recruitment strategies to attract and retain exceptional employees.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic:
- Assist in identifying and retaining top talent for MITWPU.
- Optimize the recruitment process to save time and attract qualified candidates.
Operational:
- Assess current staffing needs and provide forecasts.
- Design and implement employer branding initiatives.
- Develop and manage employee referral programs.
- Utilize HRIS and recruitment marketing tools effectively.
- Create and execute talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
- Source candidates for open positions and anticipate future needs.
- Conduct recruitment processes including interviews and screening calls.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support employee retention and development strategies.
- Review applications and background checks.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in the recruiting process.
- Propose improvements for employee retention and recruitment efficiency.
- Establish and monitor HR and recruiting KPIs, and present KPI reports.
- Employ sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles.
- Use metrics to analyze and enhance recruitment processes.
Financial and Budget:

Collaborations:
- Oversee recruiting personnel.
- Participate in career fairs, assessment centers, and other relevant events.
Academic:
- Bachelor’s degree in BBA/B.Com/B.Sc and MBA in HR or a Postgraduate degree in HR.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on academic hiring preferred.
- Familiarity with various selection methods including interviews, assignments, and psychological tests.
- Proficient in job postings on social media and job boards.
