JOB SUMMARY
The Branch Head is entrusted with the responsibility of efficiently managing the branch, ensuring sustainable business growth, delivering ethical and high-quality customer service, and maintaining consistent growth across all performance parameters. Excellence in inclusive banking is a key focus, along with expanding the branch's asset and liability business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing branch operations and its overall functionality
Accountability for achieving branch business targets
Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, CFT, etc.
Managing costs effectively to ensure branch profitability
Providing outstanding customer service by comprehensively addressing their needs through the bank's diverse financial product offerings
Supervising critical areas such as new business development (both retail and institutional), sales channel expansion, team development, and revenue generation
Enforcing the adherence to all prescribed systems and processes at the branch, as directed by Senior Management
Ensuring thorough training of the entire staff on the bank's products and sales processes, while maintaining high engagement levels
Handling interactions with internal and external auditors, inspections, and compliance matters
RELEVANT JOB EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 6 years of Banking experience with branch management responsibilities
A demonstrated track record of driving a branch towards higher profitability
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Proficiency in communication, leadership, result orientation, interpersonal skills, and a strong service-oriented approach
Familiarity with local geography and language is advantageous
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in any specialisation, with a Master's degree considered an advantage, Banking qualifications such as MBAs, CAIIB, JAIIB, and others will be preferred.
