Job Summary:


The Global Payroll Manager oversees payroll operations for multiple countries including India, Singapore, US, and UK. This pivotal role encompasses managing statutory and labor compliances across these regions, ensuring adherence to local regulations and laws. Additionally, s/he is also responsible for various Talent Enabling Services such as managing insurance benefits, leave and attendance, full & final settlements, year-end activities like incentives, salary revision, etc., HR Audits, and addressing employee queries related to payroll and HR policies.


Job Description:


  • Manage payroll and benefits operations for India, Singapore, US, and UK, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to employees
  • Stay updated on statutory and labor regulations in each country, ensuring compliance with tax laws, social security contributions, and other mandatory requirements
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners for payroll processing and tax compliance in different jurisdictions
  • Oversee Talent Enabling Services including insurance benefits administration, managing income tax, statutory compliances (ESI, PF, Gratuity), leave and attendance management to ensure smooth employee experiences
  • Handle full & final settlements for departing employees, ensuring all dues are settled according to company policies and legal requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters, providing timely and accurate assistance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, and HR Business Partners to address payroll and compliance-related issues effectively
  • Build processes, KPIs, SLAs, define SOPs and metrics to ensure service quality standards are met and error rates are minimized
  • Act as a SPOC and manage senior management queries in areas on payroll, income tax, leave and attendance, other HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and ensure security measures are in place to protect sensitive data.



Profile Description:


  • MBA/MSW with at least 12 years of experience in managing payroll, benefits administration, and HR operations and with a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing global payroll (preferably Singapore, US, and UK)
  • Solid hands-on experience in managing global payroll ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality HR services to employees across multiple regions
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements pertaining to payroll
  • Experience in managing and facilitating both internal and audit activities; providing remediation plans and working with stakeholders to close identified risks and issues
  • Thorough knowledge of salaries and benefits eligibility and pattern for various grades, and hands-on exposure to different leave rules and actuarial valuations
  • Continuous review on the payroll and related processed and constantly work on process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Supporting with details and data required for various statutory filings, submission of periodic reports in specified formats
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills, logical, have the eye for details, ability to manage and mentor a high-energy team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, highly service-oriented, and process-driven.
