About CompUp: CompUp, founded in 2019 by three graduates from IIT Kanpur -Anurag Dixit, Anshul Mishra, and Ramesh Konatham, is on a mission to ‘Eliminate Pay Disparities’ and enable a Hyper Personalized Engagement platform for Employers, Employees and Candidates. With overall seed funding of USD 3 Mn and backing from leading VC’s like Binny Bansal’s Three State Capital, San Francisco-based Tribe Capital, Pioneer Fund and YCombinator. We help close to 350 companies, from Funded Startup’s to Enterprises, achieve pay parity by leveraging data to make scientific and fair people decisions starting with compensation. Roles/ Responsibilities: The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for the following: Identify and target potential customers from the specified target companies and geography. Research and analyse market trends and competition to identify potential sales opportunities. Conduct outbound sales outreach via phone, email, and other communication channels. Qualify leads through consultative conversations to assess their needs and potential fit with our solutions. Build and maintain a strong network within the SMB / Enterprise market segment. Position CompUp effectively to win with clients in pursuit of best-in-class Compensation Management technology. Assist in creating sales strategies and developing a robust pipeline of leads for the sales team. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads. Provide timely and accurate sales information to management for reporting purposes. Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities and progress. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent pre-sales support and addressing customer inquiries. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions. Requirements: To be successful in this role, the candidate should have: 3-5 years of experience in B2B Sales in the SaaS industry , preferably in HR Tech A creative and customer-focused mindset Experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling A general understanding of SaaS offerings and HR Technology industry Ability to differentiate yourself to customers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish relationships with potential customers. Experience with CRM software. Self-motivated and results-driven with a high degree of accountability
