Opportunity to work for an India focused investment management firm Opportunity to work with senior candidates About Our Client Our client is a leading early stage venture capital fund that invests in deep science and tech enabled start ups in India Job Description Lead and manage finance transformation projects within portfolio companies, including process optimization, financial systems implementation, and operational improvements. Collaborate with senior executives (CFOs, finance directors, etc.) of portfolio companies to develop tailored finance transformation roadmaps that align with business objectives and growth strategies. Lead the implementation and integration of advanced financial systems (, ERP, FP&A tools, accounting software) to streamline finance operations and support scalability. Oversee the optimization of finance processes, focusing on closing cycles, monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to improve speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency Partner with portfolio company leadership teams to identify financial bottlenecks and opportunities for growth within the finance function. Establish and track KPIs to measure the success and impact of finance transformation projects, ensuring they contribute to both short-term and long-term business objectives. The Successful Applicant Candidates with Bachelor's/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CA/CFA) Minimum of 8 - 12 years of experience in finance transformation projects at consulting firms or similar setups Strong track record of successfully leading finance transformation projects, particularly within a VC portfolio or startup environment. Experience with finance systems implementation (, ERP, FP&A tools, accounting software) and automation tools (, robotic process automation, AI) In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management
