Position: Junior Accountant Location: Indore Experience: 2 Years About SourceBae: SourceBae is a fast-growing tech staffing platform connecting global companies with top remote developers. Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, handle invoicing, ensure compliance, and support management with financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally and a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and reconciliation processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting in Zoho Books or Tally. Record and manage vendor invoices, client invoices, and expense entries. Perform bank reconciliation, vendor ledger reconciliation, and payment tracking. Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. 2. Client Billing & Vendor Payments Prepare client invoices based on timesheets and project milestones. Maintain vendor payout sheets and ensure timely processing. Follow up with clients and vendors for payment updates and confirmations. 3. Compliance & Documentation Maintain proper records for GST, TDS, and income tax. Coordinate with CA firms for audits, filings, and compliance requirements. Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all financial records. 4. Reporting & Analysis Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries (revenue, expenses, cash flow). Assist management with MIS reports and financial projections. Identify and flag inconsistencies or overdue payments proactively. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting tools. Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and reconciliation procedures. Excellent Excel and reporting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
