About Us:

Arjun Travels is a well-established company with over 50 years of experience in the commercial vehicle transportation sector. Our fleet includes buses, water tankers, and transit mixers, serving various industrial and municipal needs across Mumbai. We are now looking to expand our operations with a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to manage and optimize our spare parts inventory and store operations.

Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Store Manager with hands-on experience in managing spare parts for commercial vehicles such as Ashok Leyland, Eicher, and Tata. The ideal candidate must have an in-depth understanding of vehicle parts, store management systems, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and ensure availability of spare parts for all company vehicles including buses, water tankers, and transit mixers.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely ordering and replenishment of parts.
  • Identify and source genuine spare parts for Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Tata and other heavy commercial vehicles.
  • Coordinate with workshop and operations team to ensure quick turnaround for vehicle repairs.
  • Implement inventory control measures to reduce pilferage, wastage, and downtime.
  • Negotiate with vendors and ensure cost-effective procurement of parts.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the store.
  • Supervise store staff and oversee day-to-day store operations.
  • Maintain documentation for all inward and outward materials.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Store Manager or similar role in the commercial vehicle/automobile industry.
  • Strong knowledge of spare parts related to Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Tata vehicles.
  • Familiarity with components used in buses, water tankers, and transit mixers.
  • Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of store software systems and Excel.
  • Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Prior experience working in transport or logistics companies.

Salary:

Competitive – Based on experience and qualifications.
