Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Purchase Manager
with a strong background in HVAC procurement for project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of HVAC materials, equipment, and services for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement activities for HVAC materials, equipment, and services related to project requirements.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost optimization and timely delivery.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, track supplier performance, and resolve procurement issues.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineering, and logistics teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
  • Monitor market trends, material costs, and availability to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in procurement processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in HVAC or related industries, preferably in project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC products, equipment specifications, and vendor landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience handling large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
  • Exposure to international vendors and import logistics.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management.
