An Agriculture Equipment Manufacturing MNC having PAN India & Global presence is looking for National Sales Head-India. The Sales Head is responsible for leading and overseeing the sales team, developing strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base, and ensuring the company's strong presence in the market. This role will also involve driving profitable growth, achieving revenue targets, and contributing to the overall business strategy.
The person must have-Expertise in B2C Sales, Experience of managing a large number of Dealers All Across India, understanding of Indian Geographies, Farming and Farmers, and Farming as well as landscaping equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY :
Developing and implementing sales strategies :A sales head is responsible for creating strategies that align with a company's goals and objectives. This includes identifying potential new markets and opportunities, analysing trends and data and creating sales plans to increase revenue.
Lead sales team, setting sales targets and monitoring performance: Manage and monitor sales team,Sets targets and monitors performance to ensure achieve sales targets. This includes analysing sales data, providing regular feedback to the team and making necessary plan adjustments.
Managing and motivating the sales team: Manages and motivates team to achieve their individual and team goals. This includes training and coaching the team, providing ongoing support and creating a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Building and maintaining customer relationships : Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, Involves understanding their needs and preferences, addressing their concerns, and providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction.
Analysing market trends and competitor activity: A sales head is responsible for staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity. This includes analysing market data, conducting research and using this information to make informed sales decisions.
Collaborating with other departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as Service, marketing, operations and product development, to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and company strategies. This includes sharing market insights, customer feedback and other relevant information to support organisational goals.
Budget and Forecasting sales: Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and report on performance, adjusting strategies where necessary to achieve results
Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize the sales process for efficiency, and implement best practices for maximum productivity.
