Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Sales at ABC Express in New Delhi. The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing sales strategies, overseeing account management, leading the sales team.


A: Manage existing business

1. Manage growth and degrowth of all existing customers.

2 Manage branch retail sales along with a growth strategy.

3. Manage DEPS cases and resolve claim matters.

4. Manage customer contracts and credit control, increase rates wherever necessary and make sure customers pay on time.

5. Set up customer service team.


B: Generate new business

1. Should have excellent customers base of FTL and PTL Ex. Delhi NCR to West Region and vice versa.

2. Generate outbound leads through existing consignors, consignees and market research.

3. Generate a system to generate inward leads, i.e. through social media marketing, SEO etc.

4. Manage leads professionally via a software ideally, don't miss leads.

5. Close all relevant leads.


C: Sales Strategy and Leadership

1. Define and implement the sales process

2. Revise rates whenever possible

3. Lead the sales and customer service team including defining incentive programs.

4. Implement tech / CRM wherever necessary.


Desired Candidate Profile


  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales or corporate sales leadership roles.
  • MBA/PGDM degree in Sales and Marketing
  • Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth through innovative sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels.
