Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to oversee and expand our sales operations across a specific region. The RSM will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets in the building materials sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the region in alignment with company objectives.
- Achieve and exceed regional sales targets by driving business development and increasing market share.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives to ensure high performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, distributors, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to proactively adjust sales strategies.
- Conduct regular field visits to understand customer requirements, solve issues, and build brand loyalty.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance analyses for management review.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to drive regional promotional activities and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical business practices.
- Provide inputs for new product development and pricing strategies based on market insights.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the building materials industry.
- Proven track record of managing a regional sales team and achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of building material products and market dynamics.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
Preferred:
- Experience managing distributor and dealer networks.
- Exposure to both commercial and residential building materials projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
