Job Description

This is a remote position.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage our email infrastructure and provide comprehensive IT support. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner, eager to tackle new technologies and challenges, with experience in email infrastructure management and IT support, preferably in a fintech or startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure the security and efficiency of our email infrastructure, including implementing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.

  • Provide basic IT support and manage accounts, permissions, and access to crucial internal tools such as HubSpot, Trengo, Smartlead, etc.

  • Facilitate the onboarding process by setting up email accounts for new joiners and conducting educational sessions on internal tools and email best practices.

  • Monitor email delivery metrics and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to support technical operations, integrating marketing technologies, and optimizing email campaigns.

  • Oversee vendor relationships and continually assess new tools and services to boost efficiency.

  • Have a foundational understanding of setting up and managing AWS EC2 instances and AWS Lightsail accounts.

  • Remain up-to-date with the latest in IT infrastructure, email technologies, cybersecurity, and marketing technologies. Proactively suggest and implement improvements.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in email infrastructure management and IT support, preferably in a fintech or startup environment.

  • Knowledge of email authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

  • Basic understanding of AWS services, specifically EC2 and Lightsail setups.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex technical concepts.

  • Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and face challenges.

Requirements
