This is a contractual role.

Skill Set :

- Total 8 years of work experience in the field of Big Data and NoSQL, with a focus on MarkLogic technology.

- Proficiency in MarkLogic, XQuery, Optic query, and Semantic Technologies, with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in these areas.

- Strong familiarity with the datahub framework and hands-on experience with Apache NiFi.

- Comfortable using cloud platforms, specifically Azure, for deployment and management of MarkLogic solutions.

- Extensive experience in designing and developing REST APIs to facilitate data access and integration.

- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git bash, build automation tools like Gradle, and proficiency in at least one integrated development environment (IDE).

- Experience working as part of a DevOps team, collaborating with other developers and operations personnel to streamline the development and deployment process.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills :

- Proficiency in MarkLogic technology, including expertise in Apache NiFi and XQuery.

Responsibilities :

- Design and Development: Lead the design and development efforts for MarkLogic-based solutions, leveraging your expertise in MarkLogic, XQuery, and related technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Data Integration: Utilize the datahub framework and Apache NiFi to integrate data from various sources into the MarkLogic platform, ensuring data consistency, quality, and accessibility.

- Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage MarkLogic solutions on cloud platforms, particularly Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

- REST API Development: Design and develop REST APIs to expose MarkLogic functionalities and enable seamless integration with other systems and applications.

- DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with the DevOps team to automate deployment processes, implement continuous integration and delivery practices, and ensure smooth and efficient operations.

- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and deployment guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

- Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, mentoring them in best practices, design principles, and technologies related to MarkLogic development.

- Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and other technical teams, to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
