Aeonovatech - Senior PLM Engineer - Obsolescence Management

Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) with a focus on obsolescence management and vendor part management.
Role Overview:
As a Senior PLM Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the obsolescence management process, establishing methods for identifying alternate and preferred parts, enhancing vendor part management capabilities, and providing collaboration and support to internal stakeholders.
Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external PLM service providers to ensure effective utilization of PLM tools and alignment with business requirements.
Strong expertise in Teamcenter obsolescence management is mandatory, with desired experience in integrating external tools like Silicon Expert.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Obsolescence Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and streamline the obsolescence management process.
- Develop and implement strategies within Teamcenter and SAP to manage the lifecycle of materials towards obsolescence.
- Ensure alignment of processes and tools, including integration with external tools like Silicon Expert, for seamless management of obsolete materials.
2. Alternate & Preferred Parts:
- Establish methods for identifying alternative parts for different components within the product portfolio.
- Define and manage information related to alternate and preferred parts within Teamcenter and SAP.
- Work with cross-functional teams to document and implement alternate part strategies accurately.
3. Vendor Part Management:
- Enhance vendor part management capabilities by implementing robust processes and tools within Teamcenter and SAP.
- Define and manage vendor information, vendor parts, and their lifecycle within the PLM system.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to integrate vendor part management processes effectively.
4. Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external PLM service providers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams in utilizing PLM tools effectively and efficiently.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new PLM functionalities and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
Mandatory Skills:
- Expertise in Teamcenter obsolescence management, including developing and implementing strategies within Teamcenter and SAP.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in ensuring alignment of processes and tools, including integration with external tools like Silicon Expert, to facilitate seamless management of obsolete Minimum 6 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), specifically in obsolescence management and vendor part management.
- Proven track record in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external PLM service providers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
