About Risk Quotient
We at Risk Quotient are an Information Risk Management consultancy with our registered office in
Singapore and offices in New Mumbai and London. We offer a range of specialized and customisable cybersecurity services, training and our innovative proprietary
products for Vendor Security Audits, Cyber Insurance, Infosec Risk Assessment and AI driven
questionnaire response. Our services include providing cyber risk support to insurers who provide
cyber insurance.
Since our inception in 2007, we have built up a strong customer base in India and abroad in this area
of specialization. We have been able to build a set of long term clients in the Banking, Finance,
Insurance, Healthcare, Fintech, IT/ITES and other sectors with companies like BSE, MCX, HDFC Bank,
HDFC Life, SBI Life, Share Khan, CDSL, NSDL, Bharti Axa General Insurance, Sterling Holidays and Burger
King to name a few of the well known names.
Job Opportunity: We are looking for Thinkers, Learners and Innovators for our growing Sales team
who will help us build our business further and expand the horizons - preferably people with a
background in consultative selling with 4-5 years of experience in new business development and a
hunger to do things differently.

You will be a part of a fast growing and niche and innovative infosec services and products team that
values providing the right solutions to their customers.

Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Mumbai/New Mumbai
Industry: Information Security Services/IT services
Experience: 4 -5+ years in New Business Development (Hunting) in Mumbai, New
Mumbai, Thane, Pune area preferably in information security or IT services sales
Scope of sales : New Business Development for Information Security Consulting Services
and Proprietary Products
Role: Individual contributor
Reporting to: Sales Head
Key responsibilities include (Not limited to):
? Develop a growth strategy with focus on increasing revenues as well as customer
satisfaction
? Identify & seek new sales leads through industry contacts, emailing, networking and
social media
? Researching new sectors, organisations and individuals online to identify new leads
and potential new markets
? Contacting CISOs, CIO, CTO, CRO, Audit/Compliance Head, Head IT level prospects
via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
? Planning and running email campaigns for new leads

? Set up business development meetings with prospective customers and understand
their concerns and requirements to position appropriate products and services
? Budgets and need analysis of prospective customer
? Understanding the prospects buying cycle and mapping all key decisions makers and
communicating effectively with them
? Planning for and meeting quarterly and annual sales targets
? Build long term relationships with new customers
? Planning/supporting new marketing initiatives
? Promote products and services through presentations & product demonstrations
? Work closely with the service delivery and the products team for project scoping,
pricing, sales proposals, respond to RFPs, discuss and close service agreements,
contracts etc.
? Prepare and submit proposals based on discussions with prospective customers
? Follow up on all leads and proposals, negotiate commercials, payment terms, contract
terms, service agreements and close deals.
? Participate in industry exhibitions or conferences for branding and lead generation
Key skills
? Proven experience in Business Development or relevant sales role
? Proven sales track record
? Working proficiency in English and Hindi
? Growth mindset with good communication and negotiation skills
? Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM
? Experience in Information security services or IT services will be a plus
? Ability to work in teams and collaborate for working on sales proposals
? Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
? Ability to build rapport
? Good time management and organisation
? Attitude for learning and contributing to the growth of the company
? Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
