Applications are invited for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in Marketing and Retail area at regular scale.
Role Summary:
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater Noida for a Faculty in Marketing and Retail at BIMTECH. The Faculty member will be responsible for the preparation and teaching of courses, mentoring students, developing course materials, and conducting research. The faculty member will also participate in community outreach programs and serve in Institutional development activities as necessary.
Job description: Faculty shall be responsible for:
(a) Teaching the prescribed subjects
(b) Developing content and vetting it
(c) Preparing question papers and doing grading
(d) Writing research papers
(e) Institution building and administrative work of the department
Eligibility
- Candidates should be Indian citizens and people of Indian origin including NRI/PIO status with Ph.D./FPM (in Management and/or related subject) from universities/institutions of repute from anywhere in the world.
- Those who have submitted their Ph.D/FPM thesis and are awaiting award of the degree are also eligible. However, the selection will be conveyed only after confirmation of award of the Ph.D/FPM degree.
- University Rank Holders will be given preference.
- Practitioners from the industry with prior teaching experience in offline and online teaching and conversant with the latest teaching tools are encouraged to apply. They must have a PGDM/MBA degree.
- Strong communication, research, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as: Marketing Management, Quick Commerce, E-Commerce, Visual Merchandising, Sales and Distribution Management, Integrated Marketing Communication etc.
- Experience with case-based, problem-based, active, or experiential learning preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and staff in a diverse community.
- Experience with academic advising and student mentoring.
- Evidence of substantive consulting projects in the field is a plus.
