Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Insurance Area Sales Manager to join our team in Kolkata. This is a full-time, mid-level position. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in sales and will drive our insurance products' growth and client acquisition efforts in the Kolkata region. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience of 4-6 years in insurance sales and managing sales teams effectively to achieve targets. Strong experience in B2B Sales, particularly in the insurance sector. (Mandatory skill) In-depth knowledge of insurance products and market trends to provide clients with the best solutions. (Mandatory skill) Excellent client relationship management skills to maintain and grow client base and partnerships. Ability to manage and optimize territory, ensuring effective sales coverage and strategy alignment. Experience in using CRM software effectively for tracking leads, sales activities, and client interactions. Proven track record in lead generation strategies that result in measurable business growth. Strong business development acumen to identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive insurance product sales in the Kolkata region. Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to enhance business opportunities. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and areas for growth. Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and report on sales performance. Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with company goals. Ensure the achievement of sales targets and revenue growth objectives while maintaining budgetary controls. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management for review and decision-making.
